The Heaven’s Gate Sapa is located about 15 kilometers from Sapa town, next to national road 4D, in Son Binh commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province.

  • From Sapa town: About 18 kilometers from Sapa town, it takes 50 minutes to drive via the former 4D national road. Following the way toward the Thac Bac waterfall and the Tram Ton Ranger Station, you can go a further 6 kilometers to reach Heaven Gate.

  • From Lao Cai city: It will take more than an hour to go 40 kilometers on the 4D highway to O Quy Ho Heaven Gate. If you want to take in the breathtaking surroundings, you may take a bus or coach.

Note: The pass to the Heaven Gate is twisting and narrow, with sharp bends. It’s better to drive carefully or rent a motorbike taxi if you’re not confident.

  • Adult tickets are 120,000 VND, and a drink voucher is included. Tickets cost 60,000 VND for each child between the heights of 1 and 1.4 meters.
