Detailed Itinerary
Morning
- 7:15 – 7:30: Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by our limousine bus. Transfer to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village to watch artisans craft incense by hand and photograph the vivid, sun-dried incense displays.
- 11:15: Arrive at Train Street — get ready to capture incredible shots as the train passes through the narrow residential alley. Lunch will be served at a nearby local restaurant.
(Half-day participants return to the hotel after lunch.)
Afternoon
- Visit Hoa Lo Prison (Maison Centrale) – a powerful landmark with stories of Vietnamese revolutionaries and American POWs.
- Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university (11th century).
- Explore the exterior of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and visit Ba Dinh Square, where Vietnam’s independence was declared in 1945.
- Discover Tran Quoc Pagoda, built in 528, one of Vietnam’s oldest Buddhist pagodas.
